DISTRICT 4
KEY ISSUES

Raising the Bar for Our Community – Real Action, Real Change
Residents in District 4 are tackling significant obstacles in securing housing and accessing crucial community resources. Many areas within the district are recognized as unsafe, leading to heightened feelings of vulnerability for residents. Furthermore, mental health services are severely underfunded, which creates challenges for families seeking the support they deserve.

Housing, Accountability & Community Resources
Too many residents in District 4 are struggling to find stable housing or access community resources. City-funded programs and non-profits promise solutions, yet people are still on the streets. There’s little transparency, no follow-through, and leaders fail to hold organizations accountable.

Community Safety
Many parts of District 4 feel unsafe. Store owners are hesitant to report crime, and residents don’t feel protected. At the same time, repeat offenders cycle through the system without consequences, leaving communities frustrated.

Youth Development & Mental Health Access
Our kids are spending too much time on social media and not enough time in productive, engaging activities. Meanwhile, mental health services are underfunded, and families don’t know where to turn for support.
